Biography
Shay Skylar is a lead vocalist, songwriter, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist from Southern California. As the grandson of the late Tin Pan Alley and Hall-of-Fame songwriter Sunny Skylar, Shay’s draw to music was inevitable. Today, Shay is actively pursuing his music career. Shay Skylar’s music offers an original style, combining modern rock and pop genres with a definitive twist. An enthusiastic rock revival sound ensures his unique spot in today's music scene.
A recent university graduate in Music and Music Technology; Shay has a passion for the promotion and re-emergence of musical instruments and their return to modern music culture. Shay manages and produces music at a local music studio, where he also acts as a recording musician playing electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion, piano, keyboard, lap steel, palm pedal steel, six-string banjo, and mandolin.
